Can’t-believe-it’s-vegan tomato sauce – creamy, super easy and nut free

too by @bitesbymi. Use it with any type of pasta you wish:

1/2 large avocado (or 1 small avocado) 
3/4 cup crushed tomatoes, plus more to thin if needed (you can use jarred tomato sauce as a sub) 
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1.5 tsp Italian seasonings 
Optional: fresh basil, to taste 
Salt + pepper to taste 
1. Blend all ingredients until smooth. Taste and continue to salt + pepper until desired taste. ** for a thinner sauce add more crushed tomatoes” .
