Pear Walnut Oats

Pear Walnut Oats 🍐🥣- oats are my favorite everyday breakfast because they’re quick, filling, you can always vary up the toppings and this is where I always add my “superfoods” (flax, chia, hemp seeds). I used to not like oats until I learned to cook them right! Cooking them in almond milk makes them so creamy I’ll never use water again. ⚡️What’s your fav oat combo?

Ingredients:
1/2 cup oats
1 cup almond milk
1 pear
a few walnuts
1 tbsp sweetener (date syrup, maple syrup etc)
1 tbsp chia seeds + flax seeds + hemp seeds

Ingredients:
Bring up 1 cup almond milk to a boil and then add 1/2 cup oats. Add flax or chia seeds. Cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes while stirring a few times. You’ll know it’s done when the oats have absorbed the almond milk and the liquid has thickened. Remove from heat.

Add 1 tbsp sweetener and mix it in. Top it with fruit and other toppings – I added pear, chopped walnuts and hemp seeds.
