Spicy Yam Stir Fry with Ginger Chili

1 medium Yam cut into cubed and steam to half cooked, set aside. 
3 clove garlic minced 
2 shallots chopped 
1 thumb size ginger thinly slice
3 to 4 bird eyes chillies 
1/2 cup peas
5 mushrooms sliced 
Toasted sesame 
Sauce mixture:
1 tbsp dark soy sauce 
1 tsp tamari 
1/2 tsp brown sugar 
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp pepper 
4 tbsp water or more 
Salt to taste 
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl set aside. 
In a wok heat 1 tbsp sesame oil, add in garlic, shallots, chillies and ginger, sauté till fragrant. Add the sauce mixture and cook for another few minutes. Then add in the steamed Taro, Mushrooms and Peas. Once the sauce thickens, remove from heat. Sprinkle the toasted sesame on top and serve with rice while it’s still hot.
